GMF1 Scales
The Giantmouse GMF1 is a very popular EDC (evey day carry) fixed
blade. Because of it's size you can carry it in your pockets without any
problem.
With its very durable and robust design it can be used for
many tasks. Giantmouse produces this knive in Italy and it comes with a
leather sheath from the original equipment manufacturer.
As we like this knive very much we do customs scales and matching custom Kydex sheaths for that awesome knives. You can find variouse variations of our scales which are matching for the 4mm and the 5mm GMF1 version. If you are missing any material feel free to contact us.
Do the scales fit on both GMF1 versions?
Yes, our scales fit both GMF1 versions, the GMF1 (4mm) and the GMF1-F (5mm). Only two screws need to be exchanged to switch between the GMF1 versions. For more details see our installation manual.
Are screw sets supplied with the grips for both GMF versions?
We supply a set of screws for each pair of knive handles, which can be used for both GMF1 versions. Two short, two medium and two long screws are supplied. The two short screws are always to be used on one side of the grip. The middle screws are used for the other side of the grip to mount the grip to a GMF1 (4mm) version. If the handles are to be screwed to a GMF1-F (5mm), the two middle screws should be swapped for the two long screws.
Do the Kydex knife sheaths fit both GMF1 versions?
No Here you have to choose exactly which version you want to use the Kydex for.
Do the custom scales fit in the original leather sheath?
No We recommend getting a custom leather sheath to avoid damaging the original leather sheath.
